Ribble League

Welcome to a new season!!!!

Today (14 March) the Ribble League fixtures were made available.  They can be found on the following link:  http://ribble.tennis-league.org/

Let’s hope all the teams can repeat their successes of last season.

The 1st team start with a tricky match away to Barton, who came runners up to Goosnargh in the first division last year. I would also like to welcome our new first team captain – John Waddicor, ably assisted by Michelle Watts.

The 2nd start their season with a home match against Withnell Fold in division 3. Lindsay and her team managed to gain promotion last year and are looking forward to the challenge that division 3 will offer the team.

Lastly, and by no means least our C team, captained again by our club secretary Laurna, have a home match against Withnell Fold also.

If anyone wishes to play for a team, please contact any of the team captains. Practice nights have now been put in the diary and will be issued to all club members soon via the newsletter.
